FEAT ON FLEXIBILITY
Born in Annapolis, Maryland. At age 16, Savoy began his classical training at Abigail Francisco's School of Classical Ballet. As a high school senior, Savoy received the title of Maryland All State Dancer. He later went on to Point Park University and Anne Arundel Community College working towards a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and minor in Biology.
In 2010, Savoy joined the Dancing Through Barriers® Ensemble (DTHII) and performed a season at The Joyce Theatre. He joined the Dance Theatre of Harlem company in 2012. While with the company and as a Cultural Ambassador for the United States, Mr. Savoy performed at the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, The Vineyard Arts Festival, The Vail International Dance Festival, The Virginia Arts Festival, the Kennedy Center’s installation ‘Ballet Across America’, and, represented the company at, the 22nd Fire Island Dance Festival in June of 2016. He has danced principal roles in: George Balanchine’s Agon and Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Frederic Franklin’s Pas de Dix, Darrell Grand Moultrie’s Vessels and Equilibrium, Nacho Duato's Coming Together, Ulysses Dove's Dancing on the Front Porch of Heaven, and Alvin Ailey’s The Lark Ascending.
Savoy has been featured in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, FLATT Magazine, and Vintage Magazine. Anthony has pursued ventures on ‘So You Think You Can Dance’,‘America’s Got Talent’, and, has walked NY and BK Fashion Week.
