Mary Houlihan is a comedian, writer, artist, and animator in NYC.
She has created and appeared in toons and live action vids for Comedy Central, Adult Swim, TruTV, Seriously.TV, IFC, Above Average, Funny Or Die, and others. Her Comedy Central hybrid animation series Learn To Paint! With Mary Houlihan is available on her YouTube channel.
She’s acted on TV in Difficult People, The Chris Gethard Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Billy On The Street. She was also supposed to be in an episode of Master Of None but the scene got cut – they said it was ‘cause they were running out of daylight for the more important shot but she is pretty sure it’s because of her skills driving the go-kart her character rode in the scene.
She is a frequent cutie on The Best Show With Tom Scharpling podcast.
Her paintings have appeared in the Adult Swim specials Joe Pera Talks You To Sleep and Joe Pera Helps You Find The Perfect Christmas Tree. She accepts painting commissions and sells prints.

You can see her perform stand-up and comedic plays all over New York, including the hits Cartoon Monsoon and The Sopranos: The Play!
